Importing older meetings says “not authorized”
The older-history import needs a Google Workspace administrator account with Reports access. Personal Gmail accounts cannot use it.

On this page
You may see: “Google did not allow access to the Meet audit log. The connected account must be a Google Workspace administrator with Reports access; personal Google accounts are not supported.”
Why it happens
Meet’s regular API only keeps about 30 days. Older meetings come from Google Workspace’s audit log, which Google lets only administrators with Reports access read. Attensa uses the Google account connected to the workspace, so that account must be such an administrator.
What to do
- Check that your connected account is a Google Workspace account (not a personal Gmail address) and has an administrator role that can view reports.
- If it is not, ask your Google Workspace administrator, or sign in with the administrator account that organizes your meetings, and Reconnect on Integrations.
- Choose Import older meetings again and approve the extra audit-report permission when Google asks.
Other messages
- “Google did not grant Meet audit log access”: the extra permission was declined. Choose Import older meetings again and approve it.
- The import is part of Pro and Enterprise. On Basic, the card invites you to compare plans.
- Only meetings organized by the connected account are imported, and Google keeps about six months of history.
Important
Attendance older than the history Google keeps cannot be recovered by anyone.
