Issue and download attendance certificates

Issue verifiable certificates to everyone who met your attendance threshold, download them as PDF, and revoke one if needed.

Updated

On this page

Certificates prove attendance. Each one has a unique ID, a PDF with a QR code, and a public verification page on this website. Only the workspace owner and administrators can issue or revoke them; members can view the list.

Issue certificates for a meeting

  1. Open the meeting and choose Issue certificates, or open Certificates and choose Issue certificates, then pick the meeting.
  2. Check the Certificate title. It is printed after “for” on the certificate.
  3. Set Minimum attendance with the slider (10% to 100%; 80% by default). The list shows who is Eligible, Below threshold, or already Certified.
  4. Tick the people to certify. Everyone eligible is selected by default.
  5. Choose Issue certificates.

Where to find it: Certificates then Issue certificates then From a meeting

The server checks each person’s attendance again when you issue, so the threshold cannot be bypassed. People who are below it, or who already hold a valid certificate for that meeting, are skipped and the result tells you why.

Issue one certificate by hand

For recognition that is not tied to a recorded meeting, choose the Individual tab and enter a title, the recipient’s name, and optionally their email. These certificates carry no attendance evidence.

Download, share, and revoke

  • PDF on a certificate’s row downloads it. It carries your workspace logo, the attendance evidence, and a QR code to the verification page.
  • Open the row’s menu for Open verification page or Copy verification link.
  • Upload a logo with Upload logo (PNG, JPEG, or WebP). It appears on certificates.
  • Revoke certificate requires a reason of at least five characters. A revoked certificate shows as revoked on its verification page and can no longer be downloaded. This cannot be undone.

Monthly allowance

Your plan includes a monthly number of certificates, shown as “used / allowance issued this month”. It resets at the start of each month, and revoking a certificate does not give one back. If your plan does not include certificates, the page tells you to upgrade.

How people verify a certificate

Anyone can open the verification page and enter the certificate ID, or scan the QR code. The page shows only what is printed on the certificate and never shows email addresses.

Important

Erasing an attendee also erases their certificates. See Attendee privacy and erasure.
