Workspaces and teams

Suspend, remove, and change roles

Pause or remove a teammate’s access, promote an administrator, and what happens to Google when the person who connected it leaves.

Open Settings, then Team, and find Team members. Next to each person you can manage, a menu offers these actions.

Where to find it: Settings then Team then Team members

ActionWhat it does
Make administrator / Make memberOwner only. An administrator can invite and suspend members, manage billing, and connect Google. Administrators cannot change you, and you can return them to member at any time.
Suspend accessThe person loses access immediately but stays on the team list, so you can restore them. A suspended person no longer uses a place.
Restore accessGives access back, if a place is free. Otherwise Attensa says the workspace has reached its active user limit.
Remove from workspaceThe person loses access immediately and is taken off the team. Their own Attensa account is not deleted. To bring them back, send a new invitation.

Who can manage whom

The owner manages administrators and members. Administrators manage members only. Nobody can manage the owner or themselves.

If the person who connected Google leaves

A workspace reads Meet and Calendar through one connected Google account. If you remove the person who connected it, their Google account is disconnected from the workspace too, and Attensa tells you so. Syncing stops until an owner or administrator chooses Reconnect under Integrations.

Important

Suspending the person who connected Google does not itself disconnect Google. Reconnect with another account if that person should no longer feed the workspace.

Removed or suspended people who open Attensa see a message that they do not have access to a workspace, and are told to ask the owner to invite them again.
