Roles: owner, administrator, and member

What an owner, an administrator, and a member can each do in an Attensa workspace.

Updated

Every person in a workspace has one of three roles. The person who creates the workspace is its owner. The owner can make others administrators; everyone else is a member. A person can have a different role in each workspace they belong to.

Things to know

  • Nobody can change their own access, and nobody can manage the owner.
  • Administrators created by invitation are also limited by the paying-workspace rule in How places work.
  • Members who open Plans & billing can see the plan but are asked to contact a workspace owner to upgrade.

Tip

Give the administrator role to the few people who run the workspace day to day, such as a department head, and keep everyone else as members.
