Invoices and receipts
Every charge produces an invoice and a payment receipt. Stripe emails them to you, and they are listed in your workspace.
Where to find it: Settings then Billing then Invoices & receipts
- Each row shows the invoice number, the date, the amount, and a status: Paid or Payment due.
- Invoice & receipt opens Stripe’s page where you can view or download the invoice and download the receipt. PDF downloads the invoice.
- If a row says Payment due, choose Pay invoice to pay it.
- Invoices and receipts state the no-refund policy and the date you accepted it.
Taxes
Taxes are calculated automatically by Stripe Tax where they apply, based on your billing details. Prices on the pricing page exclude taxes; Stripe shows the final amount, including tax, on the checkout page before you pay, and the same applies when you add extra users.
Businesses can enter a VAT or GST number at checkout, and it is printed on the invoice.
Changing billing details
Use Manage billing or cancel to open Stripe’s billing page, where you can update your payment method. For anything about an invoice, contact support.
Tip
Enterprise customers are invoiced monthly according to their agreement rather than through checkout.
